The Fashion
Platter Awards are a fabulous showcase for the cream of Brisbane’s
creative talents. The concept is ‘wearable art’
based on the theme of ‘Wine, Food and all that Jazz’.
The idea is for entrants to create a ‘delicious’
or ‘melodic’ piece that will be worn and paraded
at the Ambiwerra Festival as an expression of creative talents.
Entries can be bizarre and beautiful, deep and meaningful,
bold and exciting – anything within the ‘Wine,
Food and all that Jazz’ theme.
Finalists
are selected from original sketches and will parade their
creations on the day in front of festival revellers who cast
their votes for the people choice awards.
There
are seven Fashion Platter Awards presented on the day. These
include:

- 3rd

Place People’s Choice $125
People’s
Choice Secondary Student’s Encouragement Award $250
To marvel
at the creative talents and cast your vote, the entries will
be paraded throughout the day at various locations.
